【英式英文】不同於美國，英國人較常用這十個單字！

你比較過英國人與美國人在對話時用詞遣字的差異嗎？同樣一件事物，在美國和英國就可能使用不同的單字！

Learn British English Free的講師Chris提出了十個英國人比較常用的十個單字，例如學習美式英文的我們已經習慣使用「apartment」來表達公寓的意思，但其實英國人比較常使用「flat」喔！

在秋天，我通常會和家人去健行。

e.g. What he has done is outrageous. He’s cheeky!

e.g. I really fancy a pint. Do you want to go to the bar after work with me?

Living in a lovely flat like this will be really pleasing.
住在像這樣美好的公寓一定很讓人開心。

e.g. We’re going to visit our cousin on holiday.
我們將在假期去拜訪表姊。

e.g. It’s very hot today, innit?
今天非常熱，不是嗎？

e.g. Where’s the loo?
廁所在哪裡？

e.g. Do not behave like a numpty / muppet!
別表現得像個笨蛋！

e.g. The people queue up at a bus stop.
這些人在公車站排隊。
