你或許知道”Make friends”是指交朋友，但是”Make a toast”可不是做麵包的意思喔！Let’s talk 的英文老師特地整理了8個以”Make”做開頭的常見表達句，讓你能更靈活地在日常對話中使用。
1. Make a difference – 帶來改變
ex. Exercising and eating healthy will always make a difference in a positive way to one’s health.
運動與健康飲食總能為一個人的健康帶來好的轉變。
2. Make a promise – 保證會做到某件事
ex. I make a promise to never be late again.
我做出了承諾，永不再遲到。
3. Make a fortune – 經由自己的努力賺取財富
ex. Peter made a fortune by working hard for almost a decade.
彼得透過努力工作將近十年，替自己賺取了財富。
4. Make a toast – 舉杯祝賀、敬酒、乾杯
ex. My best friend made a wonderful toast at his brother’s wedding.
