英文片語｜和「Look」有關的片語動詞！

在「look」這個動詞之後，加上不同的介係詞(preposition)，就會成為帶有不同意思的片語動詞(phrasal verbs)！

(1) 向上看

e.g. She looked up at the sky. 她往上看著天空。

(2) 漸入佳境

e.g. Things are starting to look up. 事情開始漸入佳境了。

e.g. I look up to my father. 我尊敬我的父親。

e.g. I look down on him, he is a bad person. 我看不起他，他是個壞人。

(1) 看過去

e.g. The boy looked over the wall. 那孩子望著牆外。

(2) 檢查

e.g. Can you look over this for me? 你可以幫我檢查這個嗎？

e.g. I am going away this weekend, can you look in on the house? 我這個周末會不在，你可以幫我留意我的房子嗎？

e.g. I will look through the bin. 我會去找那個垃圾桶。

e.g. Can you look after my cat while I’m gone? 我不在的時候，你可以幫我照顧我的貓嗎？

e.g. I will look into the information. 我會去找資訊的。

e.g. Can you look out for my dog? I’ve lost him. 你可以幫我找找看我的狗嗎？我找不到它。

e.g. No thanks, I’m just looking around. 不了，謝謝。我只是隨便看看。
