Can’t help but 的意思為「A phrase used when one feels very strongly compelled to do something.」也就是你強烈的想要去做某件事，或是你認為你應該要去做某件事。Can’t help but 中文意思接近於「不得不」。
例：
Her parents live nearby, so she can’t help but go there on holidays.
她的父母住在附近，所以她不得不在假期去那裡。
例：
When a close friend dies, we can’t help but feel sad.
當好友去世時，我們不得不感到難過。
例：
I can’t help but cheat on my girlfriend.
我不得不欺騙我女友。
2.Can’t help + Ving 不得不、忍不住
Can’t help + Ving 基本上跟 「Can’t help but + 原型V」 的意思是一樣的，通常也可以互換使用。
Can’t help + Ving 的英文解釋為：「to not be able to control or stop something」，也就是無法控制自己去做某件事情，意思接近於「不禁、忍不住、不得不」。
例：
I can’t help falling in love with you.
我禁不住愛上你。
例：
I can’t help thinking of my happy childhood.
我不得不想起我快樂的童年。
其實 Can’t help but 跟 Can’t help 意思上幾乎是一樣的，沒有多大差別。只是 Can’t help but 後面接原型動詞，Can’t help 後面接動名詞 Ving。

= I can’t help crying when I see this movie.

3. have no choice but to + 原V 不得不
「have no choice but to + 原V」依字面上的意思就是沒有選擇的去做某件事。have no choice but to 的意思表達更接近於中文裡面的「不得不」。當你想要跟某人說，你沒有選擇餘地，你必須去做某件事，你就可以用 have no choice but to 這樣的句型。
例：
We have no choice but to arrive late.
我們不得不遲到。
例：
You have no choice but to give up.
你不得不放棄。
例：
