“No!”在英文中，尤其是談話時，我們常常會使用到這個單字─”Can I go to the party?”、”Can I eat something?”後面都可能接上一句冷冷的”No!”是不是光看文字就很有臨場感呢？不過除了單獨使用，”No”也出現在不少片語之中喔！
Let’s talk的Niharika老師整理出了7組包含”no”在內的片語，並列舉出不同的用法和例句。快來看看這篇文章，讓你的英文會話與寫作功力都更加精進吧！
1. No Big Deal – 沒什麼大不了的
ex. We have to pay a little extra for the tickets, it’s no big deal. 我們必須支付一些票價外的差額，這沒什麼大不了的。
2. No Hard feelings – 別往心裡去
ex. I hope you do not have any hard feelings after the meeting yesterday. 昨天會議過後，我希望你別見怪，不要放在心上。
3. No kidding
該片語有三種用法，如下：
1.不開玩笑 – 表達事件的真實性
ex. He actually proposed to her in front of the entire office, no kidding! 他真的在整個辦公室面前向她求婚，不開玩笑！
2.別開玩笑 – 表示自己的訝異
ex. Really? No kidding! 真的嗎？別開玩笑了！
3.表示已聽過無數次，聽到膩了
ex. No kidding! You tell this to me like 10 thousand times! 不要再說了！你跟我說這個說了一萬遍了！
4. No offence – 沒有冒犯的意思
ex. Excuse the comment last evening, no offence meant. 昨晚的發言很抱歉，並沒有冒犯的意思。
5. No pain no gain – 沒有痛苦就沒有收穫
ex. I need to hit the gym regularly now, as they say, no pain no gain. 我現在必須定期上健身房，就像他們說的─沒有痛苦就沒有收穫。
6. No way – 不可能/絕對不行
ex. There’s no way our candidate will lose these elections 我們的候選人絕對不能失去這些選票。
7. No wonder – 難怪
ex. Your first trip to London? No wonder you’re so excited! 你是第一次去倫敦嗎？難怪你這麼興奮！
