除了「happy」之外，你還知道有哪些慣用語可以用來表達高興、開心的心情嗎？
Go Natural English 的講師 Gabby Wallace提出了8個可以用來代替「happy」的慣用語，在影集或電影當中常常可以看見這些道地用法，下次就不用再分心看中文字幕，才能了解主角的心情啦！
1.Over the moon 狂喜
e.g. We were over the moon when we heard the news.
當我們聽到這個消息時，我們欣喜若狂。
2.On cloud 9 極快樂
e.g. The basketball team won the game and every student is on cloud 9.
籃球隊贏得比賽了，所有學生彷彿置身雲端般快樂。
3.Happy as a clam 很高興
e.g. She is now happy as a clam. 他現在非常高興。
4.Happy as a lark 很快樂
e.g. After he knew that he passed the exam, he is happy as a lark.
知道自己通過考試後，他非常高興。
5.So happy I could scream 高興得想尖叫
e.g. I just bought a new house, I’m so happy I could scream.
我剛買了間新房子，我現在高興得好想大叫。
6.In seventh heaven 歡天喜地
e.g. I’ll be in seventh heaven if I get the job. 如果我得到這份工作，我會樂翻天。
7.On top of the world 非常愉快或自豪(尤指因獲成功或好運)
e.g. After achieving success in business, the man is on top of the world.
在事業上取得成就之後，這位男子非常自豪。
8.Jump for joy 以興奮的動作對某事表示高興，歡呼雀躍
e.g. The little girl jumped for joy because her mom agreed to buy her toys.
這位小女孩因為媽媽答應買玩具給她而歡欣鼓舞。
