【建議英文】怎麼用英文給意見、建議？recommend, suggest, advise, propose...英文用法解析！

親朋好友求助於妳？或在職場上想給同事一些建議？除了「You should…」開頭的英文句子，EngVid講師Alex要跟大家分享更正式的給他人建議的方式！

常見的建議動詞有：「recommend, suggest, propose, advise, urge, encourage」。

上述皆為表示「建議（Advice）」的動詞（Verb）。

今天我們假設一個情境：朋友需要更好的工作（need a better job），你建議他更新履歷（resume）。

後可接「adapting/your updating/that you update/you update」。

有三種選擇，組合後舉例如下：

I recommend your updating your resume.

I suggest that you update your resume.

I propose adapting your resume.

…等。

特別注意，我們經常聽到「I recommend you to…」或「I suggest you to…」其實是錯誤的！

這兩者後面不可接「to+動詞（Verb）」。

以下要介紹的三個動詞，後面才可以加上「to+動詞（Verb）」。

後可接：

「adapting/your updating/that you update/you update」及「you to update」

除了前三種，使用這三個動詞後還可接「you to update」。

有三種選擇，組合後舉例如下：

I advise your updating your resume.

I urge that you update your resume.

I encourage you to update your resume.

…等。
