to make progress on foot
走路.步行
ex. I walked around the neighborhood yesterday.
我昨天在附近走走。
ex. He walks around the office to stretch his leg.
他在辦公室走來走去.伸展他的腿。
to cause an animal to walk
遛狗（這裡指狗 不會是其他動物）
ex. Make sure to walk the dog later.
以後一定要遛狗。
ex. Have you walked the dogs today?
你今天遛狗了嗎？
to accompany someone on foot
陪人一起走路
ex. She walked me to the station.
他陪我走去車站。
ex. Will you walk me home?
你能陪我回家嗎？
to avoid (criminal punishment)
避免（刑事處罰）
通常用在法律上的情況，且尚未被定罪
ex. The defendant walked, despite a lot of evidence!
儘管有大量證據，被告仍免責。
ex. I don’t think he’ll walk ; the judge is tough.
我不認為他會免責 ; 這法官很硬。
to walk on eggshells
戰戰兢兢 ; 如履薄冰 ; 非常小心謹慎
ex. My manager is in a really bad mood today. Everyone is walking on eggshells.
我的經理今天心情很不好，每個人都很小心！
ex. I had to walk on eggshells at that dinner last night.
我昨晚那頓晚餐不得不吃得戰戰兢兢。
to walk into
走路時撞到某個東西
ex. I walked into a wall this morning.
我今早撞到了牆。
ex. Have you ever walked into a glass door？
你曾經撞到玻璃門嗎？
to walk in on
意外撞見不舒服.尷尬或糗的畫面.情況
ex. She walked in on us gossiping.
他走進來見到我們在講八卦。
ex. They walked in on us watching youtube videos in the office.
他們進來看到我們在辦公室看youtube影片。
