「Specially」與「especially」兩個單字都有「特別」的涵義，但你知道該怎麼區分兩者之間的用法嗎？
Go Natural English的講師Gabby Wallace提出了「Specially」與「especially」兩個字的字義解釋與用法差異，並提出例句讓我們更清楚兩者的差別！
1. Specially 特地、專門地
Explanation: An action was done for a specific purpose, it means the reason for doing something was special.
e.g. This program was specially designed for you. 這個方案是特別為你設計的。
e.g. This video was specially done for my students. 這部影片是做給我的學生看的。
2. Especially (adj.) 特別、尤其
Explanation: To an extent or degree deserving of special emphasis
e.g. My students do especially well with new vocabulary. 我的學生們在學習新單字的部分做得特別好。
