Engvid的講師Emma提出了12個升上大學後最常使用的英文動詞，並以她的大學同學Paul為例，無論是學生在校園裡與同學談論課程相關話題，或是身為家長的你要與大學裡的教授或其他教職人員溝通時，這些動詞都可以幫助你輕鬆應對喔！
1. Enroll in / sign up for 登記、參加課程學習
Ex: Paul enrolls in Psy100.
2. hit the books = study hard 用功念書
Ex: After Paul enrolled in Psy100, he hit the books every night.
3. hand out assignment = give 分派作業
Ex: The professor hands out the assignment.
4. pull an all-nighter = stay up all night 熬夜唸書或做某件事
Ex: Paul pulls an all-nighter to finish the assignment.
5. hand in paper / assignment 繳交作業
Ex: Paul hands in his paper.
6. Cut / skip class 翹課
Ex: Paul cuts class / skips class.
7. fall behind (in) 落後
EX: Paul falls behind in Psy100.
8. get caught up 趕上進度
Ex: Paul gets caught up and falls behind again.
9. withdraw from the course 退選或停修某堂課
Ex: Paul doesn’t want to withdraw from the course.
10. drop the course 退選或停修某堂課
Ex: Paul doesn’t want to drop Psy100.
11. Plagiarize 抄襲作業、找他人代寫
Ex: Paul plagiarizes his paper.
12. expel / kick out 開除、將某人退學
Ex: The university expels / kicks out Paul.
