學英文時，當我們想要加強語氣，總是會使用“Very”這個字，然而其實還有許多貼切的詞彙可以形容當下的情境。因此今天講師 Sonia 就要教大家如何減少使用”Very”的次數，讓英文更流利。
1.Very beautiful 形容非常漂亮
- Gorgeous
- Stunning
Ex. I just saw a girl who is gorgeous/stunning. 我剛剛看見一個非常漂亮的女孩。
2.Very loud 聲音過於大聲
- Deafening
Ex. Last night around 11, we heard a deafening sound in the backyard. 昨天晚上十一點，我們聽到一個非常大的聲響從後院傳來。
3.Very happy 非常快樂
- Elated
Ex. I was so elated when I won the competition. 當我贏得比賽時我非常開心。
4.Very sad 非常難過
- Depressed
Ex. My friend seems very depressed since his break up. 我的朋友在分手後看起來非常難過
5.Very confused 非常困惑
- Baffled
Ex. I was totally baffled and I just came back home without buying anything. 我因為太過困惑，所以一個東西都沒買回來。
6.Very big 非常巨大
- Massive
Ex My friend has a massive bungalow in the countryside. 我的朋友有一間非常大的房子在郊區。
7.Very small 非常微小
- Tiny
- Teeny
- Miniscule
Ex. I need to pack this gift in a box but the box is really tiny/teeny/miniscule. 我需要把禮物包進這個箱子，可是箱子太小了。
