“Icing”指的是在蛋糕上點綴的糖霜，因此”Icing on the cake”這句俚語有好事成雙、錦上添花的意思。而這句話也可以應用在日常生活之中喔！Let’s talk的英文老師特地整理了 10 組相關的例句，學會之後，不論是寫作還是日常會話都相當實用。
“Icing on the cake”也可以使用在負面的事情上，即火上加油、雪上加霜等。因此，它可以用作形容好上加好、或者壞上加壞兩種情況。以下是例句：
