1.Boiling hot
形容大熱天的常用表達。
例句：It is boiling hot today we all should go swimming.
2.Scorching
表示極熱。
例句：It was a scorcher today,we didn’t even step out of the house.
3.Sweltering
不舒服的熱，形容天氣很熱、很潮濕，使人流汗、虛弱。
例句：There was no air conditioning in the conference room and we all were sweltering.
4.Stifling
悶熱至難以呼吸。
例句：The air was stifling in the closed room.
5.Roasting
形容天氣很熱、很乾。
例句：The torrid sands of Sahara have left me roasted.
6.Searing
也是形容極熱。
例句：I can’t take the searing heat of the sun.
7.Heat Wave
形容某個時期特別熱，且伴隨著高濕度。
例句：This heat wave is killing us, we need to buy an air conditioner immediately.
8.Heat Stroke
指因曝曬、高溫導致的中暑。
例句：Bring lots of water and wear a hat to avoid heat stroke in this hot weather.
9.Sunburn
指因曝曬於紫外線下，皮膚遭受傷害。
10.Sun Tanning
日光浴，可以指受自然的陽光紫外線曝曬，或人工的助曬。
11.Sunscreen lotion
指保護你的皮膚不受紫外線傷害的防曬乳。
12.Sunglasses /Shades
保護眼睛的太陽眼鏡。
