at the top of the hour/at the bottom of the hour│本鐘頭前半/後半
top是「頂端」，bottom是「底端」，所以在一個小時的頂端或底端，分別就是一個小時的開端或是下半段。

don’t touch that dial │不要轉臺
dial是舊式的「撥號錶盤」，不要碰那撥號錶盤的意思，就是「不要轉臺」。一般是節目主持人對聽眾或觀眾講的口語說法。也可以說 stay tuned，當然也可以更直白地說Don’t go away, we’ll be right back.（不要走開，我們馬上回來。）

tabloid原本指比一般報紙（ newspaper）小一半的報紙，多半報導庶民有興趣的八卦新聞，現在延伸稱呼這一類報導風格的各種文字媒體。
scoop (n.)│（美式口語）獨家新聞，搶先報導的新聞；最新資訊或消息

host (n.) / (v.)│主持人；主持（電視或廣播）
sports broadcaster│體育播報員
體育播報員可以進一步分為play-by-play announcer「播報員」和color commentator「球評」，前者負責播報競賽場上的實況，後者則以自身專業經驗補充評論，也經常用sports announcer或sports commentator表達。
cameraman (n.)│男攝影師
camerawoman (n.)│女攝影師
source (n.)│消息來源；提供消息來源者
