1、I feel under the weather. 覺得不舒服
例：You’re looking a bit under the weather.
你看起來有點不舒服。
2、(I’m so hungry.) I could eat a horse. 我餓極了
例：Hurry ! I could eat a horse.
快點！我好餓。
3、It’s raining cats and dogs. 傾盆大雨、雨下很大
例：It’s raining cats and dogs in Taichung now.
台中現在雨下得很大。
4、(That) costs an arm and a leg. 很貴
例：My new phone cost me an arm and a leg.
我的新手機貴死了。
5、to pull someone’s chain / leg 開玩笑
例：Sorry, I’m just pulling your leg.
抱歉，我只是開玩笑。
6、to hit the road 離開、啟程
例：It’s late. Let’s hit the road.
晚了，我們走吧！
7、kill two birds with one stone 一石二鳥、一舉兩得
例：Met friends and checked out a new restaurant ! Killed 2 birds with 1 stone !
去見了朋友，也順便訂了新餐廳。一舉兩得！
8、piece of cake 非常容易
例：Making coffee is a piece of cake.
煮咖啡很簡單。
9、Put all your eggs in one basket 把所有雞蛋放在同一個籃子裡
例：Don’t invest in just 1 company ; don’t put all your eggs in on basket.
不要只投資一家公司，不要把所有雞蛋放在同一個籃子裡。
10、hair of the dog (that bit you) 解宿醉的酒
例：Hangover? How about a little hair of the dog?
