1. pass 經過、通過
Let’s pass this car.
我們超車吧。
I passed you on campus earlier !
我早些你經過校園！
2. pass 表示拒絕某事
A : Want some cake? B : I’ll pass.
A : 想要一些蛋糕嗎？ B : 不了。
I’m gonna pass on drinks tonight.
我今晚不去喝酒了。
3. pass 超過（一個數字或日期）
Our channel passed 1 million subscribers this year !
今年我們的頻道訂閱人數突破了100萬！
Don’t eat that. I think the expiration date has passed.
別吃。我想那到期日已經過了。
4. pass 通過（考試、檢查等）
I passed the test !
我通過考試了！
If the house passes inspection we can move in next week !
如果房子檢查通過，那我們就可以在下禮拜搬進去！
5. pass 傳送、傳遞
Can you pass me the salt?
你可以把鹽遞給我嗎？
She passed him $100.
她遞給他一百元。
6. pass (something) off as (something else) 拿…冒充 ; 把…假裝是
He tried to pass off his dog as a wolf.
他試著把他的狗假裝成狼。
The criminal was trying to pass off $1 bills as $100 bills.
犯罪分子試圖將1元的鈔票假冒為100元的鈔票。
7. pass out 昏倒
I almost passed out on the bus !
我差點在公車上暈倒！
One of my coworkers passed out at her desk today.
今天我的一個同事昏倒在她的辦公桌。
8. pass up 錯過、放棄（機會）
to not take advantage of a chance
You passed up a raise? Why?
你要放棄加薪？為什麼？
For some reason, he passed up a full scholarship.
因為一些原因，他放棄了全額獎學金。
