ex. We’ve lived together for a year.
我們住在一起一年了。
ex. She still lives with her parents.
她仍然和他父母住在一起。

留在我們的記憶或記錄中
ex. The musician’s work will live forever.
這音樂家的作品將永留存著。
ex. Our grandfather lives on in photos.

to act in accordance with something else 按照某事行事
指達成期望或要求，沒有辜負某人的期望
ex. I’m not sure of I can live up to your expectations of me.
我不確定我能否達成你對我的期望。
ex. He never lives up to his promises.
他從未履行他的承諾。
= He never fulfill his promises.

to live with 接受.容忍.忍受
= to tolerate , put up with
ex. How much of his bad behavior can you live with?
你可以忍受他多少的不良行為？
ex. If I put my family through a scandal, I don’t think I would be able to live with myself.
如果我讓我家人經歷一個醜聞，我想我沒辦法容忍自己。
ex. I can’t live with this anymore.
我再也受不了了。
