「因此、所以」英文怎麼說？「因此…」、「所以…」最常見的英文說法是therefore或so。但其實還有更多用法可以來表達「因此..」、「所以..」的英文，例如thus或hence，中文意思同樣有「因此、所以」的意思。

1.therefore 因此
therefore是副詞，不能用來連接兩個句子，若therefore用在句子裡，必須加其它連接詞。
[a] 放在句中
例1. I heard the news on the radio and therefore took another route. 我在廣播上聽到新聞，因此改走其他路了。
[b]放在句首(通常會接在一個句子後面，前面可以是句號或分號)
例2： I heard the news on the radio. Therefore, I took another route. 我在廣播上聽到新聞，因此，我改走其他路了。
2.so 所以…
so是連接詞，可用來連接兩個句子。
例1：Tom checked carefully, so that the mistakes were caught. 湯姆很小心檢查，所以錯誤被抓到了。
例2：I went to bed early yesterday, so I got up early this morning. 我昨晚早睡，所以我今天早上很早起。
3.thus 因此
thus跟therefore同樣是副詞，所以放在句中的時候，一樣需要加其它連接詞。
例：It is late, and thus you must go. 時間晚了，因此你該走了。
4.hence 因此
一樣是副詞，若放在句中，需加上其它連接詞。或是放在句首。
例1：The typhoon is coming; hence the store will be closed tomorrow. 颱風快來了，因此明天店不會開。
例2：Jenny is slimmer and hence more attractive. 珍妮更苗條了，因此更吸引人了。
