【英文口語用法】gonna、wanna、gotta、shoulda、coulda…10個英文縮寫大彙整！

英文裡常常會有縮寫，例如gonna、wanna、gotta、hafta、coulda、sorta…等等，這些縮寫是否常常讓你混淆呢？以下整理了10常見的英文縮寫，讓你一次弄懂！

1. Gonna 將要

Gonna 就是 Going to，表示即將做某件事。用法通常都是主詞 + be going to + 動詞，而換成gonna也是一樣為

主詞 + be gonna + 動詞

例如：I am gonna go home. 我要回家了
比較需要注意的是第三人稱單數在使用gonna時，be動詞會發比較短促的s音，例如：He’s gonna go home. 他要回家了

Ex. I’m gonna go home. 我要回家了。

2. Wanna 想要

這個字有兩個意思，都可以用在日常生活中。

wanna = want to
wanna = want a

例如：I/We/You/They wanna go home.

比較特別的是第三人稱單數的 He / She / It 則是使用 wansta
Ex.He/She/It wansta go home.

Ex. I want a new car = I wanna new car. 我想要一台新車。

原本的句子裡，可以看到因為主詞為第三人稱單數，所以動詞「want」要加上 s，但是使用 wanna 的時候，不需要做任何變化。

雖然gonna跟wanna唸起來很順，但是請記得它們是口語用法，不適合用在正式書寫上。

3. Gotta 必須

Gotta就是 got to (或have to )的縮寫，有必須的意思。

Ex. I gotta go. 我得走了。
Ex. I gotta learn this for my examination. 我必須為了考試學這個。

4. Hafta 必須

Hafta 就是Have to必須

Ex. I hafta go. 我得走了。

5. Coulda 本來可能

Coulda 就是Could have 的意思。

Ex. You coulda told him the truth. 你本可以告訴他真相。

6. Shoulda 本來應該

Shoulda 為 = Should have 的縮寫。

Ex. You shoulda told him the truth. 你本應該告訴他真相。

7. Woulda 本來可以

Woulda 為 Would have 的縮寫。

Ex. You woulda told him the truth. 你本可以告訴他真相。

8.Musta 一定是

Musta 為 Must have 的縮寫。 (一定是做了什麼事)

Ex.We musta drank a lot last night. 我們昨晚一定是喝了很多。

9. Losta 很多

就是 Lost of 的意思。（= A lot of）

10. Sorta 一點點

Sorta = Sort of = Kind of。復數為sortsa

Ex. This movie is sorta cool. 這部電影有點酷。

Ex. I kind of want to see a movie. 我有點想去看部電影
