常常覺得做決定很困難嗎?「我不知道要怎麼決定」的英文要怎麼說呢?要怎麼用英文表達你在2個選項之間爭扎?一起來看看幾個與未來、決定有關的說法吧!
1. With any luck 希望
With any luck, we will arrive on time. 希望我們能準時到達。
2. If all goes to plan…. 如果一切順利…
If all goes to plan, I will pass my IELTS exam and move to England next year. 如果一切順利，我會通過雅思，然後明年就會搬去英國。
*發音小幫手: 想要唸的自然，to的音會有點被省略
3. Weigh up 考慮
I’m weighing up whether to study in Liverpool or Manchester. 我在考慮要去利物浦還是曼徹斯特讀書。
4. I can’t make my mind up. 我無法下決定。
5. Make your mind up! 快做決定啦! / Get on with it! 快點啦!
適合用在口語、朋友之間
6. 如果有人問你下周末要幹嘛，而你也還沒想到時，有個比較幽默的說法:
To be honest, I don’t even know what I’m doing tomorrow! Let alone next weekend. 老實說，我連明天要做什麼都不知道，更何況是下周末。
7. I’m torn between…. 我在爭扎… / I’m leaning towards… 我頃向…
I’m torn between staying in Bristol or moving somewhere else, but I’m leaning towards moving away. 我在掙扎是要留在布里斯托爾還是搬去別地方，但我頃向後者。
8. I want to follow in sb’s footsteps. 我要跟隨某人的腳步 / look up to sb. 向某人看齊
