在國外，想去餐廳吃道地美食卻不知道怎麼訂位點餐嗎?就讓Learn British English的Chris講師為大家介紹國外餐廳用語吧。
eat out 在外面(餐廳)吃
Do you want to eat out? 你想去外面吃嗎?
I’m at/in a restaurant. 我在餐廳。
Before you go (去之前)
book a table/make a reservation 訂位
A: I’d like to book a table for six for eight o’clock on Friday night please. (我想要訂星期五晚上8點，6位，謝謝。)
B: Certainly. What name? (好的，請問大名?)
A: Chris.
B: Ok, we’ll see you then. (ok，當天見。)
When you arrive (到餐廳後)
一進門:
A table for Chris please./ I made a reservation./ I need a table for four please. 我是Chris，我有訂位。/ 我們沒訂位，一共是四位。
坐下後:
waiter (服務生): What would you like to drink? 請問要喝什麼(餐前酒/飲料)?
通常是紅酒或白酒，但有時也會有house wine(店家招牌或自製酒)。
soft drink指的是無酒精飲料，例如:汽水、果汁。
要注意的是，在國外，很多餐廳不會主動提供水，有些甚至是要付費的，所以有需要的話可以問看看。
waiter: Are you ready to order? 需要點餐了嗎?
介紹menu:
appetizers 開胃菜
starters 前菜
main course 主菜
specials 每日特餐
side dish 佐菜
dessert 甜點
可能用到的句子:
What are the specials today please? 請問今日特餐是什麼?
I’ll have a starter please. 我要一份前菜。
I’ll just have a main. 我只要一份主菜。
What’s in the XX? XX裡面有什麼?
To start, I will have the XX. For the main, I will have XX. 前菜我要XX，主菜要XX。
rare/medium/well-done 幾分熟(國外大致只分三種)
Ready to leave (用完餐)
Can we have the bill please? 請給我們帳單，謝謝。
service included 含服務費
service not included 不含服務費，這時可能就要給小費(tips)了。
leave a tip 給小費
