從兩個人認識彼此之後，或許會開始約會並決定在一起，也許彼此深深相愛，偶爾可能也會感情觸礁，但最後兩個人決定攜手共度餘生，這些愛的過程與不同模樣，你知道該如何用英文表達嗎？
English With Lucy 的講師Lucy提出了有關愛的十種模樣，並可以用十個道地俚語，來形容這些戀人沉浸在戀愛當中的樣子。
1. A match made in heaven
= a couple that is seemingly perfect. 天生一對
e.g. They’re a match made in heaven! 他們簡直是天生一對！
2. double date
= a date involving two couples 兩對情侶一起約會
e.g. Let’s go on a double date with John and Mary. 我們和John與Mary一起去約會吧！
3. to be an item
= you’re involved with someone. 和某人在一起
e.g. Are you two an item? 你們兩個在一起了嗎？
4. to be head over heels in love
= to be really in love with someone 和某人相愛
e.g. I felt head over heels in love with him. 我深愛他。
5. to pop the question
= to ask for somebody’s hand in marriage 求婚
e.g. He hasn’t pop the question to me yet. 他還沒向我求婚。
6. tie the knot
= to get married 結婚
e.g. My mom and dad tied the knot 27 years ago. 我的父母二十七年前結婚。
7. puppy love
= adolescent romance 青少年時期的戀愛
8. a blind date
= somebody sets you up on a date with somebody you don’t know 和不認識的人約會(由他人安排)
e.g. My mom asked me to go on a blind date, but I didn’t agree with that. 我媽叫我去相親，但我不同意。
9. to be on the rocks
= the relationship isn’t going well 感情觸礁
e.g. Their relationship might be on the rocks. 他們的關係似乎出了些問題。
10. to get hitched
= to get married 結婚
e.g. They’re going to get hitched tomorrow. 他們明天結婚。
