= (The) United Kingdom 大英聯合王國
2. BBC
British Broadcasting Corporation 英國廣播公司
3. ITV
Independent Television 英國獨立電視台
4. NHS
National Health Service 國民保健制度
5. DWP
Department for Work and Pensions 英國就業暨國民年金事務部
6. HMRC
Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs 女王陛下稅務與海關總署
為英國政府部門之一，主要負責徵稅與進口管制。
7. DBS check
Disclosure and Barring Service: a UK government department that allows employers to check whether a person has a criminal record that would make them unsuitable to work with children or vulnerable adults
為英國的一個政府部門，可供雇主檢視自己所雇用的員工是否曾有犯罪紀錄而不適合某些工作。
8. GCSE
General Certificate of Secondary Education 普通中等教育證書
9. NI
National Insurance (number) 國民保險制度
10. GMT
Greenwich Mean Time 格林威治標準時間
11. BST
British Summer Time (GMT + 1) 英國日光節約時間
