提出租車需求，你要會說：
I’d like to rent a car. 我想要租一臺車。
I’m here to pick up my rental. 我來取我租的車。
What models do you have available? 你們有哪幾款車?
What are your rental rates? 租車的費用怎麼算?
Do you offer unlimited mileage? 有不限哩程數的方案嗎?
店員的問題，你要聽得懂：
What size car do you need? 你需要多大的車？
Would you like to rent a compact，standard or full-size car? 你想要租小型、中型、還是大型的車？
Would you prefer automatic or manual? 你比較想要自排車還是手排車？
Do you have an international driver’s license? 你有國際駕照嗎？
表達個人需求，你要會說：
Can I return the car to another location? 我可以在其他地方還車嗎？
Are there any additional charges? 有其他附加費用嗎?
What types of insurance do you offer? 你們提供哪些保險?
Do you have GPS/satellite radio/child seats available? 你們提供衛星導航系統/衛星收音機/兒童座椅嗎？
Do you offer road side assistance? 你們有道路救援的服務嗎？
Do I need to return the car with a full tank? 還車的時候必須加滿油嗎？
Can I pay by debit card? 我可以用簽帳卡付款嗎？
店員的其他指示，你要聽得懂：
Please besure to return the car with a full tank of gas.
還車的時候請加滿油。
We’ll need the car back on the lot before 11 a.m.
早上十一點前要把車開回這個停車場。
In the event of an accident or emergency, just call this toll-free number. 發生意外或緊急情況的話，就打這支免付費電話。
There are local and state maps in the car’s glove compartment. 車子的置物箱裡有當地和州地圖。
輕鬆聽懂還車情境對話
Customer：Hi. I’d like to return this car.
Clerk：All right, sir. Did you have any problems with the vehicle?
Customer：Well, I got a little scratch on the car. I was backing out of a space in a parking garage when I accidentally scratched the door on a pillar.
Clerk：Well, for minor damage like that, you shouldn’t have to pay more than a few hundred dollars.
Customer：But I thought it would be covered by the insurance.
Clerk: I’m afraid the basic insurance doesn’t cover damage to the car. If you’d paid an extra $50 when you rented the car, it would have been covered.
顧客：你好，我要還車。
店員：好的，先生。這車在使用上有發生任何問題嗎？
顧客：這個嘛，車子被我稍微刮到了。我從停車場的車位倒車出來的時候，車門不小心劃過了柱子。
店員：嗯，像這樣輕微的毀損，你應該只要付幾百塊錢就好了。
顧客：但我以為這在保險範圍內。
店員：基本的保險恐怕不包含車子的毀損。如果你之前租車的時候多付五十元，就會包含在內。
