阿里山這個高山度假勝地位於嘉義縣東北。雖然名為阿里「山」，但其實是一支山脈，以楠梓仙溪與玉山山脈隔開。這裡原為鄒族屯居，日據時代為了伐木而進行開發。到了一九七○年代，觀光開始取代伐木成為當地主要經濟活動。下面就來看看阿里山有哪些令人印象深刻的美景吧。

Guided tours are available during the Alishan Firefly Festival in April and May, but fireflies can be seen here year-round.
