墾丁是位於台灣最南端的一個熱帶度假勝地。三面環繞著台灣海峽、巴士海峽與太平洋的墾丁，是一處有著山丘、森林、砂岩海岸線及沙灘的地方。在日據時代，墾丁就已是台灣最受歡迎的觀光景點之一。一九八二年，墾丁大部分區域都劃入墾丁國家公園（台灣第一座國家公園），以確保墾丁的美麗可以保留給所有人欣賞。
墾丁因為是台灣唯一一處熱帶度假勝地，所以大多數的觀光客都是為了陽光、海洋和沙灘而來。下面我們就一起來看看墾丁有哪些著名景點和活動吧！
Maobitou, or “Cat Nose Point,” is named after a large rock that looks like a cat facing the ocean. 貓鼻頭得名自一塊形狀像貓面向海洋的大岩石。
Eluanbi Lighthouse is located at Taiwan’s southernmost point. 鵝鑾鼻燈塔是位在臺灣最南端的頂點。
At Nanwan Beach, you can rent a jet ski, go parasailing or take sailing lessons. 在南灣，可以租借水上摩托車、玩海上拖曳傘，或參加帆船課程。
The National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium, which is located on the coast north of Kenting, is one of the largest and best aquariums in Asia. 國立海洋生物博物館位在墾丁的北岸，是亞洲最大最棒的水族館之一。
