善用諺語，可以增進你的英文寫作，並且更能夠理解母語人士的口語表達。
今天EngVid講師Alex，要跟大家分享以下五個常見的諺語。
1. Practice makes perfect. 熟能生巧
The more you do something, the better you will be at it.
當你越常做一件事情，你就會越來越擅長你在做的事情。
2. Don’t judge a book by its cover. 勿以貌取人
Don’t judge someone or something by their looks.
不要根據外表評斷人、事、物。
3. Two heads are better than one. 三個臭皮匠，勝過一個諸葛亮
It is better to work on something as a team than by yourself.
獨立工作，不如團隊工作。
4. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. 不要把雞蛋放在同個籃子裡
Don’t put all of your hopes and resources towards one goal or possibility.
不要把你全部的希望跟資源投注在單一目標及可能性上。（要分散風險）
5. No man is an island. 沒有人是孤島
No one can truly live alone (and be healthy).
沒人可以真正一個人獨自生活（並維持心靈的健康）
